Viscosity conrol : · Compensation for varying ambient conditions.
The automatic, continuous viscosity control constantly
adjusts the ink/solvent ratio. Ambient conditions change: temperature,
humidity etc. This affects the quality of the ink and could
eventually clog the nozzle. The Jet 2 uses a sensor to continuously
measure the viscosity and adjust it accordingly. The cabinet's configuration is
such, that no heat is conducted from the ink jet's operational
and control mechanisms to the ink or solvent storage tanks.
This is a feature you do not want to miss, if you cannot afford
downtime. |
Charge
and Drop Control: · Compensation for varying ambient conditions. Fast · 2,400 dots/second or · 6 m/second (20ft/sec. ). Print quality · 0.8 mm to 12 mm character height The high quality drop generating and control system
allows the unit to mark very small characters as well as text
or graphics.

The Jets can be easily integrated on existing
lines or custom made marking solutions. Examples are marking of
electronic parts in JEDEC trays (click here for sample application)
or simple in-line marking. It works excellent as a stand-alone
solution with a slide table (click here for sample application). |

Easy
to use
The Windows software or the handheld unit are
easy to use and offer features that will make working and setting
up the unit "a piece of cake".
In addition, the Jet 2 can be refilled during
operation. |
Application :
Automatic marking of parts in
Trays
In this application, parts in JEDEC trays are ink-jet marked. The input/output
stacks hold approx. 20, ¼" high trays. The trays are moved to the
Ink-Jet. Each row of parts is marked by moving the Ink-Jet head across,
than the tray is moved a row forward. It is a fully automated system, which
can be used for various parts. In addition, it is very reliable and requires
only minimum maintenance. To offer even more flexibility, the unit can
be equipped with a second head. The cycle time is max. 1 minute per tray
(incl. Marking and handling), depending on the size of the parts. This
handling system can also be used with a laser. |
|
Standalone
Solution
Using a slide table, a turntable or a combination
of both turns the versatile and reliable Jet-2 into an easy to
use stand-alone marking solution. All kinds of parts can be marked
with this configuration. Changeover time is minimal; it takes
to loosen 2 screws and the system is ready to go. The turntable
as well as the slide table is equipped with an encoder to synchronize
the speed with the Jet 2, which guarantees uniform marking quality,
regardless of the operator. |
Wire Marking
Industries served: Cable harness, cable fabrication,
roll-to-roll. The Jet 2, the industry's highest quality ink jet,
offering high speed, dependable, precise marking.
Leibinger combines newly developed CAB-Jet software with a vast array of wire
handling/transport systems. Particularly the colored/pigmented ink offers maximum
adhesion and temperature stability, resistance to solvents and fade proof marking
of round and flat cables.
